Magnus Mertz
Magnus Mertz (born 20 November 1790) was a Schwartzistani peat cutter of Sandhafen, in Norrfeld; died 11 September 1862, aged 71.
Magnus Mertz sat in the Assembly for Norrfeld and voted with The Assembly Union. The Clerk's journal records attendance and nothing of speeches. The occupation entered is peat cutter; the peat of the eastern moors is the country's household fuel. The civil register enters Magnus Mertz as a peat cutter of Sandhafen, and the Encyclopedia follows the register.
