Hannes Oberst
Hannes Oberst (born 26 April 1783) was a Schwartzistani farmer of Tarnmund, in The Sudmark; died 3 July 1849, aged 66.
As Member of the Assembly for The Sudmark, Hannes Oberst was one of the sixty-three and voted, as every member has, for the war appropriation. Farming in Schwartzistan is largely a matter of drained ground and the maintenance of ditches, and the register enters farmers in every region. The civil register enters Hannes Oberst as a farmer of Tarnmund, and the Encyclopedia follows the register.
