Katrin Hallin
Katrin Hallin (born 25 March 1850) was a Schwartzistani farmer of Tarnmund, in The Sudmark; died 19 March 1917, aged 66.
The name is chiefly associated with the poem The Almanac. Farming in Schwartzistan is largely a matter of drained ground and the maintenance of ditches, and the register enters farmers in every region. For the rest, the record consists of the register entries given below.
