Matthis Ostrand
Matthis Ostrand (born 12 December 1843) was a Schwartzistani housekeeper of Hochstadt, in Westgau; died 18 January 1914, aged 70.
As Director of the National Museum, Matthis Ostrand had charge of the collections and of the rooms open to the public. Room 14 was closed for maintenance throughout the tenure. The occupation entered is housekeeper. Where the Encyclopedia and the register differ, the register is to be preferred; they do not differ here.
